During October 2011 Australasia Scales supplied, established and trade verified a 3m x 20m above ground weighbridge at Mt Isa Refuse Station. The completely hot dipped galvanised steel concrete weighbridge is strengthened by 6 heavy duty CAS WBK canister type load cells, each with in-built lightning safeguard and IP68 rated dust and water proofing.
The bridge is to be mainly used as a single directional weighbridge and to satisfy OH & S regulations a removable galvanised walkway was also needed, to make sure drivers safely exit and enter their vehicles whilst positioned on the weighbridge.
