Rockhampton City Council (RRC) put out a tender for a the supply of a 60 Tonne – 18m long by 3.5m wide weighbridge to be installed at their new landfill site in February of 2005. The Council was overwhelmed with Australasia Scales efforts and therefore placed another order for an 80 tonne – 26m long by 3.5m wide weighbridge to weigh B- Doubles in February 2006. As requested by RRC proposal included remote displays and weighbridge software enabling the drivers and weighbridge operators to operate more effectively. Both weighbridge’s have since been installed and are being used in the same conditions.
